This policy explains how Algodev LLC (“CompanyPro”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects information in connection with the CompanyPro website and services, including registers and ledgers, options management, the AI assistant and the SignPro electronic signature service (the “Services”).
1. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, company details and billing information you provide when registering or subscribing.
- Customer records — the corporate records you create or upload: registers, ledgers, transactions, documents, and the personal information of shareholders, directors, officers and signatories contained in them (such as names, contact details and shareholdings).
- Signature data — when a document is executed through SignPro, we record the signature, signatory identity details, timestamps and related audit-trail events.
- Usage data — log data, device and browser information, and analytics events collected through cookies and similar technologies (we use Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager).
- Support communications — messages you send us, including to info@companypro.com.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate and secure the Services, including processing transactions, generating documents and maintaining audit trails.
- To run AI-assisted workflows you request. Your records are used to perform the task you asked for; we do not use your Customer records to train generalized AI models.
- To process payments, send service notices and respond to support requests.
- To understand usage and improve the Services (analytics).
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers — hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics and AI model providers that process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- People you direct us to share with — for example, signatories who receive a document you send through SignPro, or teammates you invite to your company.
- Legal requirements — where required by law, legal process or to protect rights, safety and the integrity of the Services.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit parts of the Services.
5. Data retention
We keep account information and Customer records for as long as your account is active. Corporate records and signature audit trails are, by their nature, long-lived: while your account is open we retain them so your minute book stays complete. After account termination, you may request an export for 30 days, after which we delete Customer records in the ordinary course, except where longer retention is required by law.
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls and backups. No system is perfectly secure; notify us immediately at info@companypro.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
7. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including Canada and the United States. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps designed to ensure it receives comparable protection.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under PIPEDA in Canada, the GDPR in the EU/EEA and state privacy laws in the US), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@companypro.com. If you are a shareholder or signatory whose information was entered by a company using CompanyPro, we may refer your request to that company, which controls those records.
9. Children
The Services are for business use and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will give notice through the Services or by email before they take effect. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
